Abstract

This research is a Field Work Practice (PKL) report that focuses on the Implementation of Goat Manure

Application in Red Chili (Capsicum annuum L.) Plant Production. This research aims to analyze the effect of goat

manure application as an alternative sustainable fertilization to increase soil fertility and efficiency of red chili

nutrient management. The methods applied include planting chili in polybags, preparation of planting media, routine

maintenance, and observation of production data, including measurements of plant height, harvest age, number of

fruits, and weight of chili per plant per harvest. The results of the observation showed that the High Dose Goat Manure

(T3) treatment provided the most optimal results in plant height (41.0-43.8 cm) and fruit production (8-11 fruits/plant

with a weight of 55.5-70.3 g/plant). Although there was a significant increase compared to the low dose (T1) and

medium dose (T2) treatments, the overall production results were still categorized as less than satisfactory when

compared to the standard potential of red chili cultivation. This was indicated due to limiting factors such as planting

in polybags and limited fertilization frequency.
